What I Wore | Lauren Conrad Inspired

What I'm Wearing: Chiffon Skirt Worn As a Dress c/o Sheinside // Blazer H&M // Tank J.C.Penny // Flats Old Navy // Belt F21 // Earrings LC for Kohl's // Bangles Gift // Necklace F21 // Ring J.C.Penny

This outfit just happened by accident. You see, I like to style my outfits for the next day the night before on my dress-form. Originally I was going to wear a red striped top with the skirt. But as I was slipping the skirt over the head of my dress-form...I was like ooh, this would make an adorable dress! Which is how today's outfit was born. Also my outfit kinda seems like something Lauren Conrad {LC} would wear {just switch out the flats for some heels}.

Alright, so there is this new monthly membership website that I'm completely obsessed about! It is called, Little Black Bag. Once my package arrives in the mail, I'll do a whole post or video on my box & the website. If you are curious to what I picked out, I'll show you one of the things I'm getting in my box.

Hope Crossbody Bag - Nica

Ooh...this bag would be perfect for today's outfit!

I don't know if y'all noticed, but I gave the blog header a whole new look. Do y'all like it?

  1. Love the jacket & the shoes! ;)

  2. I'll have to check out that website you mentioned!
Fantastic idea with the skirt, I never would've guessed it wasn't a dress! Wouldn't look good on ME, but you pull it off wonderfully!
    A Modest Fashion Blog:

  3. really gorgeous!! and...I love the header!! (but maybe the repetitiveness of the highwaisted skirts...you know, perhaps if you spread them out? just a suggestion! :P)

  4. Love the outfit! Especially the contrast on the jacket sleeves. That totally takes it up a notch. :)

And that way of dealing with too-long belts is ingenious.

Like the polkadots on the header!

  5. Love it! Especially the jacket - adorable. :)

  6. Lovely!! I like wearing skirts as dresses.. so much fun!

  7. You master Lauren Conrad's one-hand-on-hip pose!
