What I'm Wearing: Maxi Dress made by me // Belt & Sandals Forever 21 // Cuff 'ZAD via Little Black Bag // Hoop Earrings J.C. Penny // Necklace gift from my Dad
After watching Ratatouille for the first time last night it really put me and my sister, Hanne-col into the mood to cook a big dinner today. I also bought the soundtrack today and I may, or may not have listened to it all day today. We made herb chicken, herb roasted potatoes, roasted carrots, strawberry jello with fresh strawberries, and peas. If Ratatouille makes one want to cook we should watch it more often. By the way, would anyone want a review of the movie?
Anyways, since I knew we would be cooking this big dinner today I wanted to keep my outfit simple, comfy, and stylish. Enter my stripe maxi-dress. It is so comfy as it is made out of knit! You may remember this dress from our Florida trip back in December. As you can see I've changed the sleeves since then. I like the new look way better - it also looks better on me now. If you are wondering what pattern I used, well, I didn't use one. I just used this tutorial very loosely. You know what? I should make a tutorial showing the way I did mine as I would mind having a third knit maxi-dress. *grin*
I should mention that my cuff is from my May Little Black Bag. Also I won't be doing a post on the box as I had to return three of the items back because they didn't fit me. Which means I can now comment on the customer service. It is great! I mentioned on twitter that my bracelets didn't fit and they replied back on how to return my items. I sent them back and in my next box I'll have three items added to my bag. I highly recommend you check out Little Black Bag as I have nothing but good things to say about them. We also bought our mom's Mother's Day present from LBB.

ReplyDeleteAdorable, Ash!! I absolutely love the fact that it's sort of Grecian style. You're really making me want to sew one up for myself!!
