What I'm Wearing: Liberty of London Dress Secondhand {homemade} // Vintage Belt Secondhand // Earrings Pink Lemonade // Ring Stella Dot // Heels Target
I kept today's outfit fairly simply & comfy {I must be on a simple & comfy kick right now} as I was giving a dress fitting today. Also, it was my turn to cook dinner tonight. I made meatloaf, red mashed potatoes, salad, corn, and chewy brownie cookies for dessert. Well, those cookies are going to be more for a snack because we all ate a little too much for supper. *smile*
Oh, yes. Today's pictures were taken by my brother. His trademark for pictures is...he loves people jumping in their pictures. But do you know how hard it is to jump in heels on pavement? It really hurts your feet. Also, pardon the wrinkles in my dress. It wasn't so wrinkly this morning.
Tomorrow I plan on sewing a skirt for my mom and start sewing blouses for Gaby & I. There may even be time to clean out some of my old fabric {but I normally never get around to doing it}.
p.s. Can anyone guess where my title is from?
Lovely outfit!
ReplyDeleteAnd that's The Riddle from The Scarlet Pimpernel. One of my favorite songs in the show. :)
That's such a cute outfit! I love the dress!
ReplyDelete@Alexandra Correct! I've been obsessed with that song for about a week now. :)
ReplyDeleteI love jumping pictures!! And your outfit :)
ReplyDeleteI love the Scarlet Pimpernel book, but have been unable to find a satisfactory movie--which version are you talking about? I love the dress!
ReplyDelete@Lauren The song I'm talking about is from a Broadway show of The Scarlet Pimpernel: http://www.amazon.com/The-Scarlet-Pimpernel-Adventure-Recording/dp/B000002JFB

I just love this dress!!! =)
ReplyDeleteI adore your dress! That is TOO CUTE!
ReplyDeleteI love this dress. Cool, feminine. It says carefree summers, girls roadtrip, driving with the top down. Love it that you rolled up your sleeves...just makes the look perfect somehow (but then, I have a thing about rolling my sleeves up). I think your blog is wonderful.

For some reason, this dress reminds me of something Susan(Narnia) would wear. Why???~Heaven Lee
