What I'm Wearing: Teacher's Pet Skirt c/o Shabby Apple // Kelly Green Tee Shirt Grace Elements via Sams Club // Belt F21 // Silver Hoop Earrings J.C.Penny // Wedges Payless // Nail Polish Sinful Colors in Hazard

How y'all doing today? I wore one of my favorite new outfit combinations for this summer. It makes me feel very Italian. I'm not sure why? Ideas? Perhaps it is the neckline of my top, the fit of the skirt, the color comb? Hehe...and we did have spaghetti with fresh pasta sauce for dinner tonight. *grin*

Well, I better go grab some chocolate chip cookies & milk and go watch the Olympics. By the way, what is YOUR favorite Olympic event{s}?

  1. Super cute outfit, Ashley! I especially love your shirt and the wedge shoes:)

I haven't been able to watch the Olympics this year (really wishing I could, but whatever), but I've always loved the equestrian sports and the gymnastics!

    Since I can't watch the Olympics, I think I'll go watch Doctor Who...again. ;D

  2. I love your outfit! It does look very Italian to me too! I think it's the full skirt with the peasant blouse that does it! Have you ever seen the movie "Three Coins in the Fountain"? That's what I thought of when I saw your outfit, haha! It's a really cute movie, btw, if you haven't seen it (and the title song's by Frank Sinatra!).(:

I haven't really been watching the Olympics...my favorite part is always the opening ceremony, and then I tune in at random times throughout the week, hehe. But I do enjoy watching gymnastics and diving and a bunch of the other sports as well.

  3. Actually, it made me think 'italian' too! :) Super lovely skirt - shabby apple is amazing. My favorite Olympic event is gymnastics. That probably has something to do with the fact that I did gymnastics for three years and know all the terms. And now that I've been dancing for three years, I can laugh at some of the funny little dances they do between flips. Hah! :)

  5. Oh I love this! One of my favorites I've seen you wear. :) My favorite Olympic event is whatever I have time to watch right there and then.

  6. Your outfit is soooo cute!!!
I've seen about 20 Olympic events so far, as it airs on BBC. I have enjoyed gymnastics (men and women's group and individual), Diving (synchronized and individual; both female and male), Swimming events, Equestrian, I loved seeing USA win the Judo Gold medal! It was awesome and intense, skeet shooting (two different types), archery, and rowing (doubles and the big group ones). Wind sailing was pretty cool to watch too. I wish I could see synchronized swimming, water polo, and some of the paraplegic events, but I haven't found them available on any channels in Britain (since I stream it online from there). I missed a few of the other gymnastic events which would have been nice too (like the streamers, the ball, whatever else they have). Cycling was really cool to see too today.
