What I'm Wearing: Jean Pencil Skirt made by me // Beach House Cardigan c/o Sugarlips // Navy Tank Old Navy // Leopard Wedges Payless // Cocktail Ring J.C.Penny // Post Earrings LC for Kohl's // Brown Belt Forever 21
Gaby & I were talking about posts and filming videos for Bramblewood Fashion during this morning's photo-shoot, and how we are like the "Girls With Glasses" but just for fashion & we are sisters, and also how now days wearing glasses are cool. Hence the title for today's post, Glasses are Cool!. Bonus points to anyone who gets the reference.
Anyhow, I was sent this cardigan by Sugarlips as a part of being in their blogger partnership program. It was hard to narrow down to my 3 top picks though, as I also love the following pieces too: cargo jacket, peter pan double collar blouse, sky veranda tank, lace findings dress, and peal the teal top.
I am very happy with this cardigan that they sent me. I can see it being perfect to wear to the beach over a bathing suit, with some wedge sandals {or flat}, floppy hat, sunnies, and a nice tote bag. Ahh...that sounds lovely right now. However, for today I styled the cardigan like a top, tucked into my high-waisted pencil skirt with a tank underneath - very Downton Abbey inspired. This is one easy way to bring a little Downton Abbey style into your wardrobe.
How would you style this cardigan?

I like the way you styled it, though it wouldn't look good on ME. :)
ReplyDeleteI recently found out that I need glasses for driving-at first I was like..."glasses-NO!!!!" but I actually like the way I look in them! Have you ever heard of Zenni Optical? They sell super cheap glasses (mine were $25 including shipping) and they don't feel cheap. You should check it out-they have some super fun ones too-red, pink, blue, rainbow colored.

You look very nice with your hair down like that. :) Nice outfit, too! I love the shirt. :)
ReplyDeleteThat cardigan was on my list too, I love it and it looks so great on you! I like the way you styled it, but I would just wear it with a basic tee underneath, a pair of jeans and some sandals. It really would be perfect to wear to the beach!
