What I Wore | Mint + Navy for Summer

Hello everyone! This month it seems like the only day I can get a post out is on Mondays. Mostly because on my days off I have been busy deep cleaning and re-organizing my sewing area into a sewing/blogging/YouTube area. I've also narrowed down my sewing pattern collection -- which is kinda a big thing for me as I used to have over 400. I kept my favorite vintage patterns, a few modern patterns, and I seriously paired down my historical costume patterns to the cream of the crop. I've also had a very busy social life the past two weeks [which included meeting up with two different blog readers].

What I'm Wearing
Striped Tee -- J.Crew via thredUP [$5.49]
Mint Skirt -- c/o ABADAY
Statement Necklace -- J.Crew Factory [$10]
Earrings -- Lauren Conrad for Kohl's [gift]
Heeled Sandals -- Steve Madden via DSW [$13]
Belt -- Forever 21 [$3.80]
Matte Lip Cream -- Ulta Beauty in Striking [$2.25]
Nail Polish -- Sally Hansen in Pat on the Black c/o Influenster

When I saw this mint skirt on ABADAY website, I knew I had to have it! It reminded me of my sister, Gaby [her favorite colors are: mint, gold, and blush pink] -- and besides the skirt looked refreshing for summer.

It took me awhile to decide what kind of top I wanted to pair with this skirt today, but after much thought I decided to go with this striped tee over a navy & white polka-dot sleeveless blouse. What can I say? I freeze in our air-conditioned home during the hot summer months.

Currently thredUP is doing a deal, where if you sign-up with my link you will get $20 to spend, and I will get $20. A win, win situation.
