2. Flats -- I've tried Steve Madden flats and Payless Shoes flats, but my favorites have always been the Target ones that are around $15. I own three pairs in the classic shades of black, cognac, and leopard print and wear them on a daily basis, and when ever I'm wearing heels I always have a pair of these flats either in my bag or car. *smile*
3. Lip Balm -- This one should be a given, as one can always use a lip balm in their bag, car, or in their back pocket. There is one for every personality and personal needs: minty, honey flavored, colored, uncolored, tubed, potted, etc...some of my favorites are by: Burt's Bees, EOS, Soap & Glory, Nivea, and Maybelline Baby Lips [the colored ones only].
4. Makeup Remover Wipes or Baby Wipes -- Wipes are perfect for so many things: cleaning ones face after a hike or hot sweaty day, touching up smudging makeup, cleaning up sticky hands, etc... I usually buy what ever is on sale or can be found on the clearance racks, but I typically avoid the ones by Neutrogena as my face doesn't like that brand at all. The brands I do enjoy are: Simple, Boots No 7, Yes to..., Pacifica [some of them work for me, others don't], and Ponds.
5. Dry Shampoo -- When ever you need your hairstyle to go another day, or you just don't have time to wash your hair: spray some dry shampoo on your roots to either soak up your oiliness or to add some lift and body to your hairstyle.
What are your top five items for on-the-go?
I love this and i use simple and Nivea for my face and i love Nivea lip balm. I can't live with out flat shoes as i can't wear heals as i wear a brace and love to use backpacks and i use baby powder to soak up oily hair but i tend to wash my hair every day and i use a mask four times a week too.ReplyDelete
Great post Ashley! Lip balm and flats are a must for any girl. Besides lip balm and flats, I like to have a small bottle of body spray for a quick refreshing spritz. I always have to have a hair tie and a good book too!ReplyDelete
Dry shampoo is a serious confidence boost on those messy days! I also like to keep a little touch-up bag with me in case of a mini-emergency.ReplyDelete
