Hello everyone!
For the past week I've been trying out a couple of products from Amara Organics: Total Repair Eye Gel and their Hyaluronic Acid Serum. So far, neither product has broken out my skin, or given me any allergic reaction. Of course, I would prefer to test out the products for at least a month [my personal preference when testing out skincare products] before giving a review and raving about them [or perhaps not]. So instead I will give some quick little review thoughts on the two products before sharing the giveaway the company is hosting currently.
Hyaluronic Acid Serum -- This product boasts several claims, some of which my skin is still a little too young to really make much of a difference, but I'm reaching my mid-twenties and I need to start taking serious care of my skin. Those claims are the following:
- Plumps and hydrates skin, reducing fine lines and wrinkles
- Locks in moisture, giving skin a dewy, supple glow
- Boosts collagen production, restoring skin's natural elasticity
- Softens and smooths for a more even skin tone - Leaves skin looking radiant and youthful
Before using this product I was suffering with some serious dry patches on my face, a reaction to some other products that I was testing out [those reviews will be coming later]. I have noticed since using this product, I've had less dry patches on my cheeks whenever I remember to apply this serum. We will see what happens when I continue to use this product on my face.
Total Repair Eye Gel -- My under-eyes go in phases with dark circles. Some days they are dark and I need some concealer to help cover them up so I look more wide awake and such, but then other days they are totally fine and I don't need anything. The claims for this eye gel are the following:
- Get rid of dark circles under eyes, puffiness, bags, sagging, and crow's feet
- Soothes and cools skin around eyes to reduce inflammation
- Plumps and hydrates to fill in fine lines and wrinkles
- Tightens and firms sagging skin around the eyes
- Improves texture and tone for bright, radiant eyes
It is currently allergy season in Indiana, and my sinus are always flaring up from now until the first two weeks or so of May. So we will see how much this product helps with my eye area during this time of the eye, or if it does nothing at all. Especially since the past week I haven't noticed too much of a difference in my under-eye area when using this product [of course, I haven't really had any dark circles the past two weeks].
