What I Wore | Copying My Own Polyvore Set

Hello everyone! The sun was shinning in its full glory today, which made me very happy. In fact, we reached the low-60s today in central Indiana. #happyday To celebrate this warmer weather I decided to copy one of my own Polyvore sets [I showed it in my post yesterday], and rock a skirt & my converse shoes today.

What I'm Wearing
Striped Tee -- Old Navy [$4.99]
Skirt -- Hand-Me-Down [Free]
Converse -- Gift
Belt -- Forever 21 [$2.80]
Necklace -- Gorjana via Rocksbox
Earrings -- Forever 21 [gift]
Lipstick -- Rimmel Lipliner in EastEnd Snob

When putting together this outfit this morning I was thankful to discover that this navy skirt still fitted me [especially since most of clothes from a couple years ago no longer fit], as it was the perfect base for my outfit. When it came to picking out a striped tee to wear, I had several to choose from but I decided to go with this one from Old Navy since it captured the same feeling as the one in my Polyvore set. Add my converse shoes, some simple jewelry, a clean makeup look and you have the recipe for a simple, casual, yet classic outfit for either Spring or Summer.

I wanna mention a new subscription box of sorts with y'all today, it is called, Rocksbox. What makes Rocksbox different from most subscriptions is that you are borrowing jewelry for a month [or shorter] for $19 a month, and if you love the pieces you can purchase them for a discounted price. Of course, if you easily get attached to things this might not be the best option for you. *grin* Anyhow, if you would like to try them out for free for one month, use the following code at check-out: bramblewoodxoxo. Btw, you can receive and exchange several boxes in one month if you are so inclined.

  1. Cute outfit, Ashley. Lately I've been obsessed with stripes, no idea why, just am.
On the jewelry subscription box-that sounds cool, but not for me. I tend to lose things! I'd be like "Yeah...I've purchased about 5 things this week...I lost them and couldn't find them..." Lol!

  5. Great outfit! I love polyvore because it gives you a chance to see how certain items look together before you try or buy them!
