What I Wore | Styling Mint Pants for Winter

Hello lovelies! How are y'all doing? This is my first post of 2015, and I'm excited to have it be an outfit post. I was going to do a "what I wore to church" outfit post, but it started snowing after we came home and me and my sister, Gaby, were going shopping at our nearby mall to pick up a few things. So instead, I'm doing an after-church outfit post.

What I'm Wearing
Camel Jumper -- Banana Republic via thredUp [$6.43]
Polka-Dot Tunic -- J.Crew via Simply Chic [$9]
Mint Corduroy Pants -- J.Crew Factory [$15.99]
Boots -- JustFab [$39.95]
Statement Necklace -- J.Crew Factory [$11.99]
Pearl Drop Earrings -- Etsy via Brittany Chavers [$11.50]
Cream Belt -- Forever 21 [$3.80]
Nail Polish -- Essie in Carry On
Lip Combo: NARS Velvet Matte Pencil in Damned, and
Bite Beauty Lip Gloss in Current

I picked up these mint corduroy pants from the J.Crew Factory store during their day-after-Christmas sale of 50% off + 20% off everything in the store, along with a bunch of other things with a gift card that I had received for Christmas. To say the least, I found some rather good deals during that sale, including tee shirts for $3.99 [that is cheaper than Forever 21].

Anyhow, I went with a fun colorful combination for today's outfit: navy top, camel jumper, and mint cords. Since working at Ulta I have strangely found myself wearing a lot of neutral-toned outfits, or lots of black. I decided to change that today and just wear tons of color all at once [like how I used too]. *grin*

How would you style these mint cords?

  4. $3.99 Jcrew shirts?! Jealous! I've never been to an outlet, but I've heard you can get some great stuff there.

  5. I got a blouse and socks in that J Crew sale too...I was expecting my total to be around $40 and I ended up with it at $15! Still not quite sure how their math worked out, but I'm not complaining. :) Makes me wish I had gone back and gotten some more of the blouses in different colors. I love this ensemble! So cute!

  6. Those mint pants are adorable. And you pull the collar-shirt-out-of-the-sweater so nicely. I can't:p
