What I Wore | Pastels for Winter

Hello lovelies! How are y'all doing today? I've had a rather wonderful day and evening, filled with catching up on two of my new favorite shows [Agent Carter & Forever] on Hulu, working on my Agent Carter makeup inspired video, visiting Goodwill [found an adorable Ruche like tunic], and picking up a free Starbucks Java Chip frappe [the perks of being a Gold Card member], and now blogging whilst listening to She & Him's latest album: Classics.

What I'm Wearing
Pink Tweed Blazer -- Gap via thredUp [Free w/ credits]
Cream Jumper -- Old Navy via thredUp [$3.60]
Thermal Tee -- Old Navy [$3.99]
Jeans -- H&M [$5]
Hat -- Forever 21 [don't remember]
Earrings -- LeTote [$8]
Booties -- Old Navy [$17]
Lipstick -- Revlon Kissable Matte Balm in Standout

With the colder temperatures that have been facing Indiana, I've been coming up with creative ways to stay warm, yet still look stylish and chic. I've also mastered the art of styling jeans, and just pants in general. Back when I used to just wear jeans/pants on the weekends only, and skirts & dresses on most other days, I would freakout when it came to styling pants and I would just throw on a tee shirt and call it a day. Now that I've started to wear pants more often, I've made myself learn how to style them like I can dresses and skirts: feminine and stylish. Also, when ever I wear jeans I like to make sure that I fix my hair, do my makeup, and wear lipstick.

  2. I love pastel shades - your blazer is great and will look out for one in that style.

  3. This has a very cool laid-back 70's feel to me. Maybe it's the mix of the jeans and the floppy-style hat? I'm not sure. But it looks warm and that coat is definitely very pretty.

  8. Really cute, Ashley!
You pull off that hat very well. I've considered buying a similar hat, just not sure it's good for my hair/face type.
And yes, you've definintely learned to style jeans well. I find when it's cold I just lean more towards pants for some reason, do you find that?
