Hello lovelies! I wore a rather fun outfit yesterday, that included me mixing my prints [polka-dots & paisley]. So fun. Anyhow my day yesterday involved me working on editing pictures; shopping at Ulta; editing a haul video; doing a music war with my sister, Hanne; watching some of Jim Chapman's videos on YouTube; and watching the movie, Ace Wonder [2014], with my family [it is on Netflix, btw].
What I'm Wearing
"Catch Me Later Skirt" -- c/o Sweet Salt Clothing
Chambray Button-Up -- TJ.Maxx [$10]
Combat Boots -- JCPenney [Christmas Gift]
Lace Socks -- Forever 21 [$2.80]
Belt -- Forever 21 [$4.80]
Scarf -- Forever 21 [don't remember]
Floppy Hat -- Forever 21 [$8]
Earrings -- Forever 21 [don't remember]
Nail Polish -- Forever 21 in Hibiscus
Lipstick -- NARS Velvet Matte Pencil in Damned
Wow. I didn't realize that I was wearing so many things from Forever 21 yesterday, I just searched around my closet for the perfect accessories and they all just happened to be from there. I guess you could say that F21 is my favorite shop for finding the perfect accessories -- not matter what your style may be as they carry something for everyone.
The skirt that I'm wearing was sent to me back in November from Sweet Salt Clothing but sadly, I could never get pictures of me wearing it until now. I ordered the skirt in a size medium, after studying their sizing chart, but sadly it was slightly too big for me so I just safety pin it to fit at my waist. Yeah....it is an old trick that I've been doing for years with ready-made skirts that are too big in the waist for me. It is a problem that I've been faced with since I was real young [around 9-10], so I would always just wear dresses or jumpers [the American kind] growing up. Anyhow...other than the skirt not fitting around my waist, it is a lovely skirt that features: pockets, a full lining, and the skirt doesn't stick to your tights 'cause it isn't made out of natural materials [which is lovely during the colder months, static wise].
Bonus! Here is my haul of what I found at Ulta yesterday. Enjoy, and don't forget to leave ideas for the hair style video next week down in the comments.

DeleteI love the pattern mixing in this outfit (Still something I'm not brave enough to try.) The skirt looks so fun and looks like it could be used in a fairly formal outfit too! :)
ReplyDeleteYou need to try pattern mixing, it is so much fun to do!! I've gotten to the point where I don't even notice that I do it, until I'm writing blog posts. :p
