Even though this is what I wore for Christmas dinner and opening gifts, this is a rather old outfit. You see, our family celebrated our Family Christmas on December 10th 'cause most of my family went down to Florida for Christmas. I had to stay back and do this thing called.....work. Anyhow, I've been saving up this outfit to share with y'all on Christmas day, but as y'all can see that didn't happen. :p
Anyhow...I was sent this taffeta black skirt from an Easy shop called, In All Modesty to review and model on BF's back in November. When the skirt arrived in the mail [14 days after it was shipped, it was coming internationally], I knew right away that I was going to save it to wear for our family Christmas. The skirt itself is high quality, fits my measurements perfectly [which doesn't always happen when I custom order stuff], and makes a lovely swish-swish noise when I walk. *sighs*
If you have been on the lookout for customized modest clothing options, that supports independent designers and seamstress, I would recommend that you check out In All Modesty yourself.
Since I told y'all about my Christmas day on the 25th, I feel like I should share a bit about my December 10th Christmas too. It is only fair, right? We went out for dinner at Bonefish Grill as family after we all got off work, which was lovely especially since I haven't eaten there since Easter. We came back home after supper to open gifts, and head-off to bed since several of my family members had come down sick. I received some lovely gifts from my family & friends:
