What I Wore | House Cleaning

Hello lovelies! It has been awhile since I've done an outfit post for y'all. I seriously need to remedy this lack of outfit posts...of course, I have good reasons for not being able to do post during late October/early November as we were all busy working on our Dad's banquet [I edited six videos, all of which Gaby had filmed]. So yeah, we had that along with Church events that we were apart of helping out with, so you could say that we have been incredibly busy within the past several weeks. But enough about the past, let's talk about today's outfit.

What I'm Wearing
Cornflower Blue Corduroy Blouse -- St. John's Bay via JCPenny [hand-me-up]
High-Waisted Skinny Jeans -- J.Crew via Simply Chic [$18]
Knee-high Boots -- JustFab [$32]
Earrings -- JCPenny [don't remember]
Red Lipstick -- Revlon in Certainly Red

Since our family was having a day of cleaning house and taking things to storage [at our Dad's office] all day, I opted for something comfy, yet warm. I grabbed a corduroy blouse [this used to be my sister, Hanne-col's, but she gave it to me], some high-waisted skinny jeans [you don't have to worry about anything showing when you bend over, and such], and since I would be outside at times I pulled on my boots.

To complete my look I did do a full-face of makeup and red lipstick. If you remember my helpful hints on cleaning, I recommend that you make sure that you feel glam when you are cleaning, as this helps prevent a lazy feeling. I didn't do anything to my hair, since I knew I would be putting it up-and-down all day, so I didn't bother doing anything.

Well, I better get going, as I have to make a chocolate pudding pie for our Church Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow after the morning service.

  1. You look gorgeous! I love the pop of red of your lipstick :) I've never really “dressed up” for housecleaning before...maybe I should give it a try!

  4. I'm glad we have the same perspective on high waisted jeans. No one wants to see a builders bum! You look lovely my dear.
