What I Wore | Tunic + Jeans for Autumn

Hello lovelies! Today was my day-off from work, so I went with my Mum and sister, Gaby to visit downtown Indy this afternoon for our Mum's haircut and to show them Fountain Square and of course, visit the local frozen yogurt place: Cultured Swirl [which I had mentioned here before]. On our way home we stopped by at Starbucks for some coffee and I decided to go with my autumn favorite in latte form: Salted Caramel Mocha Latte. Which if you haven't tried it yet, do give it a try before they run out of salt in either December or January. *smile*

What I'm Wearing
Gingham Tunic -- Victoria's Secret Pink via thredUP [$0.74 after credits]
Skinny Jeans -- Jessica Simpson via Simply Chic [$2.40]
Leopard Print Scarf -- J.Crew via Simply Chic [$8]
Leopard Print Flats -- Target [$15]
Gold Post Earrings -- Click Six [$1.99]
Headband -- Target [$10]
Nail Polish -- Rimmel 60 Seconds in Caramel Cupcake
Lip Liner -- NYX Cosmetics Lip Liner in 828 Ever
Lipstick -- Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Moss in 104
Lipgloss -- The Balm Plump Your Pucker in Cocoa My Coconut
Coffee -- Starbucks Salted Caramel Mocha Latte

I've been on the lookout for some super cute tunics to wear with jeans, after seeing Olivia from Fresh Modesty styling them for years. To say the least, I was excited to find some tunics in my latest thredUP shopping order to wear with jeans, 'cause tunics + skirts typically don't look that good together.  I also noticed that I'm mixing my prints today with the gingham and two types of leopard print -- something I didn't even think about, as I typically treat the following prints as neutrals: polka-dots, gingham, and leopard print.

Well, I better get going as I'm watching BBC Robin Hood & DW with my brother, Nathanael and sister, Hanne this evening -- which has been our thing the past couple of Friday nights.

  3. That's so cute! I love the way you style leopard print... I've always struggled with making animal prints look not tacky. Olivia is great at styling tunics!

    1. Aww...thanks so much! I was always afraid of animal prints looking tacky too, I think the key is finding them in a classic print from a more higher-end brand, as they typically look less tacky. :)

Aww...thanks so much! I should seriously do a "get ready with me" video of me sometime soon, showing my current favorite makeup look.

  4. I love how you take clothes I have and wear every day and make them look totally new! You have worn some of the clothing pieces that I have or have something similar!
    Cute outfit as always!-Abi

  5. Oh wow, lovely! You have superb taste in fashion :) The different prints go fantastically together!

On a side note, was very interesting to notice you call your mother 'Mum' and not 'Mom'! We call our mothers Mum here in NZ too, so it was super interesting to note people in the US use it too!
