What I Wore | TARDIS Blue Lace Dress

Hello lovelies! How are y'all doing this weekend? Yesterday I went with my family on a little day trip up to the Indiana Dunes -- which was lots of fun! I hiked on a three dune challenge, visited the beach on Lake Michigan and read some of an Agatha Christie whilst laying out on the beach, visited a J.Crew Factory store [I did find a top], and had Costco for dinner [combo pizza & frozen yogurt with strawberries].
What I'm Wearing
TARDIS Blue Lace Dress -- c/o OASAP
Black Leggings -- Forever 21 [$5]
Black Ballet Flats -- Steve Madden [Free w/GC]
Necklace by Kendra Scott --c/o POPSUGAR Must Have
Post Earrings -- Kohl's [Free after discount]
Lipstick -- Revlon Kissable Lip Stain in Romantic
Nail Polish -- Essie in Mint Candy Apple

Whilst we were gone on our day trip a lovely package from OASAP arrived with two things I had picked out. One of those things were this lace dress. I was so excited, that I immediately decided to wear it the next day [which of course, is today] -- all of this was before I realized that the next episode of Doctor Who comes out today.

I don't know about you, but I find styling TARDIS blue things kinda hard. So I opted for a safe option of all black accessories, from the jewelry right now to the shoes [I even used a black cross-body bag when I ran to the grocery store for some chai tea, doughnuts, and ice-cream].

How are y'all liking the new series of Doctor Who? So far, I liked last week's episode best, as I found this week's episode kinda on the so-so side. But hey, there is always one so-so episode in every DW series.

  3. I really love the color of the dress. Once it gets cooler out I could see it paired with boots and leggings, maybe a jean jacket on top. The color suits you well!

  4. That is such a beautiful shade of blue! I think it would look nice with a skinny belt at the waist. Hot pink or neon yellow, if you wanted to try something different from black accessories. It looks lovely simply styled as in this post as well.

  5. You look so pretty! I haven't seen any of the Doctor Who series, but it's on Netflix... I may have to check it out. Is it really good? I'm currently kinda obsessed with Sherlock ;)!

    1. It is fantastic! If you like Sherlock, and I know that you love other things I enjoy watching, you will perhaps love Doctor Who. The story writing & character growth is one of the best on Television right now, and is more of a modern fairy-tale type show, with some Sci-Fi thrown in. Warning, the first episode of series 1 [of the reboot] is kind of cheesy and low budget, but if you love that episode and stick with it, you are a true Whovian.
