What I Wore | Stripes + Pops of Red

Hello lovelies! Today is kinda an exciting day, as my youngest sister, Abby is going to be pitching her first softball game this evening. To say the least, I'm kinda nervous for her and I hope she does well, as she never pitched a game before. Also this will be the first full game of hers that I would have seen, mostly because I always had things going on during her other games. But enough about my little sister, who isn't so little anymore. *sighs*

What I'm Wearing
Striped Tee -- Old Navy [$4.99]
High-Waisted Jeans -- J.Crew via Simply Chic [$15]
Cream Belt -- Target [$3.50]
Key Necklace -- Forever 21 [gift]
Earrings -- Kohl's [$??]
Red Flats -- TOMs [.55 after GC]
Red Lipstick -- Cover Girl in Flame 300 [$3.49]
Manicure -- Rimmel 60 Seconds in 610 Stand to Attention [$1.69]

Recently I picked up this striped tee on clearance at Old Navy, and it has quickly become one of my favorite tees -- mostly because it reminds me of the tees that I'm drawn to on Pinterest. If you were to have a peak into my wardrobe you would discover that I own several striped tees. What can I say? They are classic wardrobe piece that can be styled a million different ways!

This outfit was kinda inspired my Taylor Swift and her vintage/hipster style. In fact, I'm even wearing a lipstick that she has been known to wear. I always like seeing what she is wearing, even if I'm not the biggest fan of her music. There has been several times when I have eyed a ModCloth, Anthropologie, or Kate Spade dress only to see Taylor wear it a few weeks later. Guess we have similar taste in clothes, because I can usually ID her clothes. *grin*

Oh, yes! The strawberries pictured above are from our garden. In fact, I had just finished picking them before working on this post. I don't know about you? But, I adore freshly picked strawberries -- especially with some ice-cream or angle food cake & cool whip. Yum.

Well, I better get going, as I have to get ready to leave for my sister's softball game. Talk to y'all later!

Also, there is a blog survey for Bramblewood Fashion that I would love for y'all to answer! Thanks so much. Take the survey here.

  5. Aw! You look so cute! I love the casual, vintage style of this outfit. And the pops of red are gorgeous!

Ooh! Fresh strawberries look great! I can't wait for the strawberries where I live to get ripe so I can go strawberry picking. I love getting out in nature to go fruit picking. <3 <3
