What I Wore | Jumpsuit on a Lazy Day

Hello lovelies! The other day I wore this fun jumpsuit whilst feeling a bit under-the-weather. Can I just say, that jumpsuits are super comfy and feel like you are wearing pj's. Kinda awesome for those days were you don't feel too well. Making them in the same category as knit maxi skirts & dresses. Oh, yeah.

What I'm Wearing
Sandals -- Target [$24.99]
Bicycle Necklace -- Forever 21 [$1.50]
Earrings -- Forever 21 [gift]
Lipstick -- Maybelline Color Sensational Vivids in Shocking Coral

It was fun to be given the chance to try out a jumpsuit, thanks to Fashion Union. After wearing this for a full day, I have a good idea on how I would like my next on to look like, and how I want it to fit. First off, it is nice that this jumpsuit features a zippered front, as this means you can adjust how low the front comes down. Of course, if you zip it up too much it will pull around the bust area, not very flattering. Also I don't really like the elastic waistband, and how the fabric bunches around my waist creating bulk.

Anyway, I would like a jumpsuit that features a fitted waistband, looks like a black top + black trousers paired together, and just looks classic. Kinda like this one that one of my favorite Russian bloggers & YouTubers is wearing [featured down below]. Beautiful, huh? That's my dream jumpsuit.

  3. I don't like the bunched waist personally because they always look frumpy on me, haha! I love them but I can never seem to pull them off! :( Love you in this style!

  5. Last month I'd have told you-"no way!" But I tried one on at Forever 21 and really liked it! Unfortunately it was a size too small, otherwise I'd bought it!

  6. I'm sure you've thought of this, but you're such a great seamstress-perhaps you could take in the waist?

  7. Maybe I need to add "wear a chic jumpsuit" to my bucket list! :) I like how you took a bit of risk with this one. I see what you mean about the waist, but I really like how you styled this look. Tres chic.
