What I Wore | Black on Sunday

Hello everyone! Anyone have any plans today/evening for Father's Day today? Us kids are surprising our Dad with one of his all-time favorite desserts: brownie sundaes. We are also hoping to finish watching the film, The Longest Day [1962] with him too. As our family is really big into watching old World War II films together, or anything with Jimmy Stewart or Gregory Peck is a big favorite too.

What I'm Wearing
Hi-Lo Black Knit Midi Dress -- c/o ChicNova
Black Lace Moto Jacket -- c/o SheInside
Sandals -- Target [$24]
Necklace -- Forever 21 [$5.80]
Earrings -- Forever 21 [$1.80]
Ring -- Forever 21 [$2.80]
Lipstick -- L'Oreal Paris Colour Caresse Wet Shine Stain in Endless Red [$7.99]

I've had this hi-lo knit midi dress for a few weeks, and I must say that it is one of my go-to dresses, as it is so easy to style for any occasion. In fact, I haven't worn it the same way twice yet, and I have even worn it twice in one week. I can't recommend highly enough, that you have a black knit maxi or midi dress in your wardrobe as they are practical, versatile, and comfy.

Well, I better going, since it is Father's Day and all. Plus, we are starting our movie.

  1. That lace jacket looks great with that dress! It adds a very elegant touch. Lovely!

  2. Very pretty! Dresses that are so versatile are great--don't we all love our LBDs :)

  4. I'm thinking about wearing a similar look today, with a black tank, black lace midi, and black heels. I guess we're on the same wavelength!

  5. You look great in black! My family recently watched The Longest Day also...quite the story (and it's true!). I'm glad the good guys won that one.

  6. That black lace jacket is so lovely!
