What I Wore | Layers for Spring

Sooo...I've been sharing some OOTD pictures on my Instagram lately, as it is the easiest way for me to share right now, and I thought I would share those pictures with y'all since I know everyone doesn't have Instagram.

 Friday, May 2nd -- On Friday I went into my Dad's office to do some organizing & shopping for supplies [it was also pizza & movie night for me and the boy I'm nannying right now]. Since I wanted a rather comfy outfit that day, plus it was kind of chilly outside too, that I went for my maxi-skirt and longer layers.

Maxi Skirt -- Forever 21 [$13.80] || Grey Hi-Low Tee -- c/o OASAP || Boyfriend Cardigan -- Forever 21 [hand-me-up from Gaby] || Leopard-Print Scarf -- J.Crew via Thrift Store [$8] || Leopard-Print Flats -- Target [$15] || Lipstick -- Rimmel Kate Moss in "05"

  Sunday, May 4th -- Sunday morning I visited a new church with Gaby and the boy I'm nannying right now. Then in the afternoon we watched Frozen, went for a walk, ate dinner at Taco Bell, and walked to the park to play [that is just a brief description of my day]. I really wanted to wear a Lands' End dress that my sister, Gaby had handed-up to me, but it has a cross-over v-neck and I couldn't find a safety pin anywhere, so I opted for my favorite Madewell dress with some cropped leggings & a jean jacket.

Pink Silk Dress -- Madewell [$20] || Black Cropped Leggings -- Forever 21 [$5] || Jean Jacket -- Express via Thrift Store [$8] || Cognac Flats -- Target [$15] || Lipstick -- Revlon in "Blushing Mauve"

Which outfit is your favorite, Friday or Sunday's? Let me know in the comments below!

  1. I love Friday because it's easier for me to remake, haha! I love looking at cute, modest outfits and knowing that I can create them easily and add my own spin on things.

  3. I love both but my favorite is the dress you wore on Sunday! I am loving wearing dresses and I wish I had more than the two or three that I have so that is probably why ;). I love denim jackets with dresses! on little trick that I have used is if I find a dress where the top is a little immodest, I can disguise that with a denim jacket or I have a really nice denim vest that I use as well! That dress is gorgeous and so vintage looking!
