If y'all don't know, I'm kinda obsessed with striped tee shirts. I keep buying them as I know that I will wear them all, and they go with so many things! Besides they are a great classic piece to have in your wardrobe. You can pair one with a floral skirt, jeans, shorts, or even layer one over a dress. Hmm...perhaps the next blogging challenge should be styling a striped tee shirt. *smile*
As promised, here is a picture of everything I found at Half-Price Books today. As you can see, I found a number of vinyl records from the 1940s, 50s, and 60s, with artist like: Fred Astaire, The Andrew Sisters, Pat Boone, Eddie Fisher. I also picked up some movies [all of which I have never seen]: Ocean's Twelve, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, Finding Neverland, and Paris When It Sizzles.
Well, I better get going as I'm watching His Girl Friday [1940] with my siblings right now. *grin*

Love the floral bag!
ReplyDeleteHi Ashley! Cute outfit...love your Cath Kidston tote! Looks like you got some great things at Half Price Books; I've seen Finding Neverland and Pirates of the Caribbean. Would love to see Paris When it Sizzles...that is if it's any good...but most movies with Audrey Hepburn are! Would appreciate if you would check out my blog and follow!

You look lovely! Gotta love a good striped tee, and Cath Kidston bags are some of my favorites! It looks like you had great luck at half-price books! Finding Neverland is a favorite of mine...the soundtrack is dreamy. :)

I love your striped tee-shirts! They're so simple yet so classy. I especially love this one because of its length; I really dislike short shirts of any kind.
ReplyDeleteSuper cute! I like how your tote goes with your shoes! :D
ReplyDeleteSo jealous of the Andrews Sisters Record! I had been looking for one a few years back at a Half Price Books in Texas and couldn't find one. :( I've got to look for some again!
ReplyDeleteLove the whole outfit, and I ADORE your taste in music. ;) The Andrews Sisters are the bomb!
ReplyDeleteLately, I have really been "falling in love" with the whole striped shirt thing. I like how they look so ocean-y and classic. :) I really think I will have to make myself one (or more) this summer!
