What I Wore | Sherlock Tee + Floral Skirt

It is perhaps starting to kinda, sorta feel like spring around here. Even though it was in the high-30s here, it felt delightful, especially since the sun was shinning. Once it starts getting warmer, all I want to wear are full skirts with tee shirts & pretty dresses. So in celebration of some warmer weather, I pulled out one of my favorite Anthro skirts to wear today.
What I'm Wearing
Settee Roses Skirt by Odille -- Anthropologie via Blog Sale [$10 perhaps]
Sherlock Tee -- Made by Me [tutorial]
Leopard Print Flats -- Target [$15]
Jean Jacket -- Express via Thrift Store [$8]
Earrings -- Target [$4]
Lipstick -- Kate Moss [red tube] by Rimmel London in 104 [$3.99]

Most days all I want to pair with this skirt is a striped tee, and I almost did today too. But I thought how boring & normal for me [though for some it would be an adventure], I should do something a little more exciting & fun. When I saw my Sherlock tee hanging on the side of my closet & thought I should try pairing it with this skirt. I added a jean jacket for both warmth & to help tie the outfit together. Then to push the envelope further, I threw on some leopard print flats. All in all, I really love how today's outfit turned out. It is fun, shows my personality, and is super comfy! All major scores in my book.

What has been your most recent, shall we say, daring outfit that you have worn [for you at least]?

  1. That skirt is one of my favorites of yours! It looks so flowy--like it would be a good "twirly" skirt! :)

hmmm...my most daring outfit... probably something that was mixing prints, or mixing two different shades of a color...
