What I Wore | First Day of Spring + Floral Blouse ReMix

For the first day of spring I had to wear my wool winter coat & tights, I guess spring weather hasn't really come yet to Indiana. *smile* Anyhow I spent today shopping with my Mom has we had some errands to run.
What I'm Wearing
Floral Blouse -- H&M [$4]
Black A-Line Skirt -- Banana Republic Mad Men Collection [hand-me-up from Gaby]
Burgundy Skinny Belt -- Target [$3]
Black Tights -- Not Sure [$?]
Oxford Flats -- ModCloth [$??]
Camel Coat -- Forever 21 [$10]
Faux-Pearl Post Earrings -- Forever 21 [Gift]

On Tuesday evening me & Gaby did a little closet clothing swap of some things we wanted from each other. She really wanted my floral OASAP tunic, pictured here, for her wardrobe -- but wasn't too sure what to give me in exchange. After looking around a bit, she found this black a-line Banana Republic skirt. I was eager to to do the swap as I've been on the lookout for a black skirt just like this one, plus it is from their Mad Men Collection -- which just thrilled me to pieces. I can see myself styling this skirt several ways in the coming days.

I've worn this floral H&M blouse at least four other times on Bramblewood Fashion since the autumn of 2011. Of course, I've worn it more times off-the-blog, I just don't have any outfit posts for those times. *smile*

My favorite ways that I've styled this floral blouse is number 4 & today's outfit. Which one is your favorite?

  1. I really like how you styled your blouse Ashley! The black skirt really helps the floral print to shine.
