What I Wore | Jenna Coleman Inspired Outfit + Makeup Tutorial

What I'm Wearing
Tweed Tunic -- c/o OASAP
Skinny Jeans -- Land's End Canvas via Thrift Store [$12]
Earrings -- Target [$4]
Nail Polish -- "Pat on the Black" by Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure c/o Influenster

Today has been a laid-back type of day for me. I worked on filming several videos for my YouTube channel, including the makeup look I'm rocking today [more about that later]. Anyway, when I ordered this tunic from OASAP last month, I was really eager to start styling it, as it reminded me a bit of something that Jenna Coleman [Clara Oswald on Doctor Who] would wear. Of course, they advertise this as a dress, but it is wayyy too short to be a dress. Hence I'm wearing it as tunic over some skinny jeans. I tried wearing some flats with this outfit, but my legs just looked stumpy [not a good look] so I switched those out for these adorable pumps that I was able to get from JustFab for FREE! Thanks to some of you signing up & buying things from JustFab. Thanks girls! :)

About today's makeup look, it was inspired by the makeup that Adelaide Kane wore to the 2014 People's Choice Awards a few weeks ago. So I filmed a tutorial on how to recreate this look for yourself! Enjoy.

  1. Very pretty! I loved your tutorial, although the music sometimes made it hard to understand what you said. That's the first time I got to see how to apply highlighter, I think it's going to help me, so thanks! :)

  2. SO CUTE! I love this look, and you pull it off beautifully! :D

  3. I love this look so much! The little tunic is to die for and you definitely nailed the makeup look you were going for!

  4. It's so cute! Clara would so wear it!
"Dress" *rolls eyes* I can't imagine wearing that short of a dress! But it looks very adorable as a tunic! Sort of peplum top style actually!
    A modest fashion blog:

  5. Love this look on you! I don't think I could pull it off, but you totally nailed it.

  6. You remind me very much of Amy Acker - one of my favourite actresses :D
    Nicely pulled together!
