Hello lovelies! I just want to say, welcome to all of my new followers! I hope y'all enjoy reading my blog, all current & past posts. Though, my style a few years ago make me cringe now. So, yeah, maybe not too far back. *grin* Back to today's outfit post, I was given the chance to pick out some items from Choies to style -- and can I say, their stuff is pretty top-notch. I picked out this black knit dress (along with a black & white striped version), and the floral headband (which I thought was a nice change from my typical style picks).

When the black dress arrived in the mail, I knew I didn't want to just throw a cardigan or jacket over it. I want to style the dress a little different, a little more BoHo chic which is a style I sometimes like to wear. Hmm...I tend to do this style when ever I wear knit dresses & skirts. Not sure why. make the outfit more BoHo, I added the lace vest & floral headband -- both typical BoHo pieces. I think the finished look is very much something Esther might wear, as I can totally see her wearing this.

Do you ever like to branch out from your normal style & try something different?

  4. I absolutely LOVE this outfit, Ashley!!! You have totally inspired me... I think I need a black maxi dress now. Sometimes I get stumped when it comes to layering things up, but you always pull it off beautifully. Lots of love to you and your sisters!
