Polyvore Fashion Inspiration

I recently created some Polyvore sets for fun, and I thought I would share them with y'all while I was out of town.

"Leap Year" Inspired

This first set was inspired by the movie, Leap Year -- which is a lovely chick-flick set in Ireland. *sighs* It has the lovely Amy Adams (love her!), and even though she doesn't have that many outfits in the film, I love her style. This set kinda reflects how I'm starting to like styling my pants, with a nice flow-y top/sweater, nice colored shoes, and some fancy earrings (either post or dangle). This type of styling looks much better then just a normal tee shirt & jeans.

4th of July Inspired

This next outfit is a casual 4th of July/ sort of Clara Oswin Oswald inspired outfit. Love the pattern mixing with the stripes & polka-dots. Of course, converse have become a wardrobe "must-have" with me lately, someday I would love to own more colors, so I had to throw those in for comfort. I also adore the red satchel (very Clara), I would love to own one someday, if can find one that doesn't cost too much. Any ideas on where to find one? In red.

Stripes + Polka-dots
Another thing I've been loving is polka-dot jeans. Just have to find the perfect pair that also fit me. I did find a pair last Black Friday at JCP, but they didn't fit me right.

Which one is your favorite? Do you have a Polyvore account?

  1. I do have a Polyvore account, and it's definitely fun! I don't go on it too often though.

I'd really like to see "Leap Year."

  3. In complete love with the 4th of July outfit... even outside of something stylish for the holiday, it's very wearable! I have a skirt almost exactly like that, and this post is definitely giving me ideas :)

That top in the leap year outfit is also something I am going to be hunting for the fall!
