My 23rd Vintage Themed Birthday Party + Outfit Pics

Hello everyone! Since we were gone for my real birthday and were unable to have a party, we delayed the party for until we had time (which was this Saturday). Now, I know y'all have enjoyed it when I've shared pictures of my birthday parties in the past, so I knew I had to share pictures with y'all. Like my past couple of parties, the theme for my party is once again vintage-inspired. Hehe....I think it is going to be my go-to theme for awhile. Anyhow, enjoy the pictures and tidbits of my evening.
What I'm Wearing
Striped Tee -- Forever 21 via Thrift Store
Green Cardigan -- Forever 21
Skinny Jeans -- GAP Outlet
Moccasin Flats -- Payless Shoes
Earrings -- Forever 21
When my mom, Gaby, and I went to Trader Joe's today & they found out I was having my birthday party today, they gave me these flowers for free -- which was kinda awesome and nice of them.
Before & during the party we played records on my record player. It was awesome to be able to play records at my birthday party, since I've always wanted to do that. Well...since I've have wanted a record player that is. :)
My birthday dinner was delicious. We had barbecue ribs, smoked salmon, potato salad, corn, and lemonade. For dessert there was white cake with chocolate fudge frosting, and different types of ice-creams for all of our allergens from Trader Joe's.
Paper straws add the perfect vintage touch to any party, mine are courtesy of Minted.com. Actually, most of my party supplies that I used for my party are from them: the cake stand, paper cups & plates, napkins, and the paper straws.
The lovely birthday gifts that I received from my parents, Gaby, and my best friend Achaia Long. Left to right they are the following: polka-dot wallet from Target, iHome, love & toast Honey Nectar Body Butter, Saboteur DVD, and a J.Crew gift card.

Be sure to come back and see my birthday dress post on Sunday afternoon or evening!

    1. Thank you very much, Hannah!

Hehe....you should see our house. Every room in our house except for the bathrooms & pantry/laundry room have bookshelves in them filled with books. :)

  4. Happy birthday! Love the pictures!! I'm not one for parties because I don't like crowds..maybe because my house is too little for it. LOL! But you make me want a vintage themed party...and some records! I already have a record player..I love the sound of it! So much better than a CD player!

I love that book you're holding in the last picture - it was the very first Henty I ever read. :D
