What I Wore | I Have Loved You for a Thousand Years...

::What I'm Wearing::
Jean Jacket -- Express via Thrift Store
Striped Peter Pan Tee -- T.J.Maxx
Hi-Low Maxi Skirt -- Kohl's
Converse -- Gift
Purse -- JustFab
Earrings -- Little Black Bag
Nail Polish -- Lovie Dovie by Essie

How y'all doing? I normally don't do outfit posts on Monday's because I work, and the lighting is usually awful. But I had to share today's outfit (it is one of my go-to Monday outfits) as it is comfortable, yet stylish. Now, I don't always wear the converse with this outfit, I just felt like wearing them today instead of flats since it was raining outside. By the way, are y'all still liking these in-the-mirror outfit pictures? I find it very handy during the winter and early spring months, as it is always windy outside during this time of the year. I can't wait for the weather to warmer though, and I can outside & find new locations for my outfit pictures. Yay! But for now, I'm really loving my mirror pictures -- especially all the cool detail shots I can do.

Anyhow, I'm going to be looking through & commenting on everyone's outfits from last week's fashion event (also replying to comments) tonight. Hmm..I also think I'll go get some ice-cream to eat too. *grin* Well, I better get going.

  4. Love the hi-lo skirt!

    Also, I love your mirror pictures :) You manage to do them exceptionally well. I have problems with in-mirror pictures . . . one is that my room is not set up very well, the other is that I need to clean it, and then I have a pretty cheap camera. Oh, and I'm a bad photographer. :P

  6. I think the mirror photos are fine! You can still see the details, the lighting is good and the photos are clear. :-) Sadly I don't have ANY mirror other than the bathroom mirror, and I'm really horrible at self timer, thus the huge amount of time that has passed with no outfit posts. ^_^ I need to find a spot to do self timer sometime.

    Oh, LOVE this outfit, converse are the cutest and this is a great look with the skirt. :-)

  7. I'm not a fan of high to low skirts, but other than that I love this outfit. The strips, the collar, the shoes, the plum color of the skirt, all of it.

  10. Cute outfit, Ashley! Sorry I didn't get to participate in your fashion event! I kept meaning to...
    I would say the mirror photos are fine! Usually mirror photos are irratating for a number of reasons (I.E. the lighting is bad, people don't bother to clean up the area behind the mirror, thus leaving junk everywhere in the background) none which you do, so mirror pictures are fine with me! ;)

  12. I LOVE this outfit, Ash dear! It's got a casual overall look, but nothing underdone... love. The Converse shoes look adorable with the high-low skirt (which I love!). Oh, and your bag is so cute too.

    Mwah!
