Alright, as you might have noticed -- I haven't done any posts in February when I said I was going to do a Valentines Day series and all. Well, I have a reason for my absence -- I came down with an awful sore throat & cold on Tuesday (hence, keeping me from doing any blogging or filming any videos). You see, I want this series to be done with videos mostly, but with me sounding & feeling awful that wasn't happening this past week. Hmm...maybe I will be able to squeeze in a few videos next week! *fingers crossed I get better fast* Anyhow, I was able to film, edit, and upload one video before I got sick. It is a nail art tutorial on how to get cute little hearts on your nails -- you can watch the DIY video below.
I don't know about you, but I've been craving warmer weather like crazy lately. Except, I would like to skip the allergy season part that is always really bad for me the first month or so {that part I'm not craving}. Anyhow....with all my spring fever/summer blues I've created a Pinterest board & some Polyvore sets to help me with my warmer weather cravings -- though I kinda think it just makes it worse.
You can see a few more spring/summer sets on my Polyvore page. Which ones are your favorites?
Hi! Just wanted to let you know that I just started to follow your blog, because I love modest outfits that are still super cute! And not to mention vintage styles, so your blog has both!
ReplyDeleteHave you seen the Pinterest nail tutorial that using Sharpies to draw on your nails? I bought gold and silver sharpies to try that but have not yet.
ReplyDeleteHave you heard of The Tucker Twins series? The author is Nell Speed (a pen name), but I cannot find information online. I have my grandparents book "At Boarding School with the Tucker Twins" and the only date on it says 1915. Old copies of books usually creep me out, but I like this one. The series is nothing special in literature but I love it because it is fun and retro-if 1915 falls in that category. I could not find much on Amazon either. I just wondered if you had seen this type of book in your library and antique halls. Do you have Half Price and do they have old books?
@Liza -- Hi! Thanks for following & commenting, dear! I hope to see you stick around for awhile. *smile*
ReplyDelete@Livia -- Hmm...I don't think I've seen that nail tutorial yet. You will have to let me know if that works out, if you try it.
No, I haven't ever heard of The Tucker Twins series, but looking at pictures of the series I'm certain I've seen the series before at antique malls. Yes, I have a couple Half Price's sort-of-near me and they have old books. Why do you ask?
Oh my goodness!! I am craving summer like crazy!! I am so over tights! >.< At least we have some snow now, though, so the scenery is a little different...
ReplyDeleteYou look so cute in the first photo! I love it! And I will def watch that nail tutorial tomorrow - right now I need some sleep! Lol. ;D
