Doctor Who Blog Party ❘ Q&A Costume videos with Louise Page

Hi, everyone! Excited for the first day of the DW blog party? I know I am. Everyday this week you will want to visit my & Tasha's blog's, as we are both posting something daily for the event. And of course, you don't want to miss out on any of the fun! *smile*

Alright, I have some thrilling videos to share with y'all today. Short interview videos with Louise Page, costume designer of Doctor Who from the David Tennant years. Yep, I stumbled across these while researching DW costumes a few weeks ago. But I refrained from sharing them anywhere instead I  saved them to share with y'all during the blog party.

How DT's shoes were picked for his costume as the 10th Doctor.

Who did you enjoy dressing the most? What are your favorite costumes during your time on Doctor Who?

What was it like taking over the costume department of an established show? Did you have a large archive of clothes from series one? f

About the "Girl in the Fireplace" tie that DT wears.

About DT's first tie in the Christmas Special.

What can you tell us about the glasses DT wore? How did the idea come about, and where did they come from?

When shopping for Billie Piper did you shop as if you were Rose and limit yourself to the brands and labels you felt she could afford?

If you would like to see more of these Q&A type videos be sure to check out the blog, Making My Tennant Suit {which is where I discovered these videos}.

  2. These are brilliant fun! I just finished watching The Next Doctor for the second time and was quite taken with the costumes in that so very excited when she was talking about those. That red dress Miss Hartigan wears is particularly stunning!
