Who Inspires Me (Fashion Wise) | Debbie Reynolds

Gosh! It has been a very long time since I've done one of these posts. In fact, it was October of last year. In the past I've done: Grace Kelly, Audrey Hepburn, Judy Garland, Deanna Durbin, and Lauren Bacall. Can you believe I started this series over two years ago? I need to stop doing these posts months apart.

It is fun to look back at the other posts in this series, as I've seen so many more movies of theirs since then. In fact, I've seen almost all of Grace Kelly, Deanna Durbin, and Judy Garland's movies. I've also seen a good number of Audrey Hepburn's films now.

Now, about Debbie Reynolds, who is the lovely lady featured in today's post. Debbie is adorable, and way too cute for words. I love finding pictures of her wearing fur coats - she looks simply darling in them! Besides loving her adorable wardrobe, I really enjoy her movies too!

Debbie looks great in a fur coat - would mind having a vintage one myself.
Adorable. You could recreate this look using: shorts, peter pan collared blouse, and a pair of oxfords.
Too cute!
This picture is from the film, I Love Melvin.

You can see a bunch of Debbie Reynolds pictures here. Which ones are your favorites?

Movies I've seen her in:
Singin' in the Rain {1952}
I Love Melvin {1953} {movie review}
Susan Slept Here {1954}
The Tender Trap {1955}
The Catered Affair {1956}
Bundle of Joy {1956}
Tammy and the Bachelor {1957}
My Six Loves {1963}
Charlotte's Web {1973}

What are YOUR favorite Debbie Reynolds films?

    I've only seen Debbie in "Singin' in the Rain" and "The Tender Trap", but I think she's soo adorable!! I really, really like her. I'll have to pin some of the great pictures you have of her. *smile*
    Oh, when we were at the Titanic Museum they had an outfit that Debbie wore in "Unsinkable Molly Brown"... it was FABULOUS! I would love to recreate it some time. Hmm... I'll have to see if I can find a picture of it online!
    Much love~
