What I'm Wearing: 1950s Sundress made by me // Belt vintage // Sparkly Bracelet J.Crew // Red TOMS // Dangly Earrings Forever 21
Today it was very hot outside. In fact, it reached 100 degrees. Which meant I needed to wear something very cool, so I decided to wear this 1950s sundress {I used the out-of-print Butterick pattern #4513} to help keep cool. By the way, it didn't help that much. I was still very hot. Well, soon a friend will be over for an Anne of Green Gables movie night & dinner. So I better get going. :)
Beautiful dress, Ashley!
ReplyDeleteOh!!! How fun! I love Anne of Green gables, and was thinking about watching the series tonight myself. ;)
That's a lot of red! :) I love the red with the touch of gold from your bracelet. Very pretty.
ReplyDeleteLove the dress! It was super hot here too! 104 degrees! I'm a quilter...not a clothes sewer...but I want to be! I'm trying to learn the basics and make a dress. Is there anything you could reccomend? Patterns anything? thanks!
ReplyDeleteLove the red dress, Ashley! So pretty! I'm melting at 90, can't imagine any hotter!

ReplyDelete@Logan - What if I do a post on the subject to answer your question. Would that be alright? :)
