What I'm Wearing: White Linen 1909 Edwardian Dress made by me // Black Flower for hair Maurices // Sandals, Earrings, Belt Forever 21

Summertime is here. It is in the 90s & you don't want to wear many layers - the fewer the better. You just want to feel cool. Enter a white linen dress. I've had this dress in the back of my closet for while, but never really thought to style it for modern wear. When cleaning out my closet last week I decided to give this dress a chance, instead of just packing it away in my costume box. I'm so glad I did as this is perfect for the warmer weather - just need an ocean, as this would be perfect for the seashore. Of course, it could be because I made this dress while on vacation down in Florida several years ago.

What do you like to wear when it is hot outside in the summertime?

  1. Cute outfit! When it is hot, I usually just wear a cotton skirt and T-shirt...with flip-flops too, of course!! :)

  2. You look lovely.. and cool!! :-) When it is hot out I tend to go for loose and breezy dresses or skirts... and stay away from layering too much! Less is cooler! :-)
