What I Wore | If You Knew Susie

What I'm Wearing: High-Waisted Jean Skirt made by me // Blazer George ME by Mark Eisen hand-me-down from Mrs. Amber Apple // Top Kohl's // Belt F21 // Sandals F21 // Earrings F21

I just realized last night, I had never got around to sharing pictures of this high-waisted jean skirt I made back in February for the SAICFF {which reminds me, I really need to finish posting about that event}. The pattern I used was vintage Simplicity #5840 from 1964. I adore this pattern! It was easy to sew {once you got past all of the darts in this skirt. I don't like sewing darts}. I would love to make up this pattern again in a colored twill or denim later this year.

Our shopping trip on Wednesday night was a blast! I found some really cute Olsenboye jeans for $7 at J.C.Penny {I'll be wearing them tomorrow}. We also stopped at Forever21 where I bought a green cardigan, some v-neck tee shirts, and the sandals in today's post. Oh, yes, I also bought a pair of silver hoop earrings at Penny's.

This evening I plan to watch some movies {not sure which ones yet} and maybe a few episodes of Mr. Ed on Hulu; eat russian tea cake cookies; and maybe make some hot chocolate {I might switch out that for something else}.
