What I Wore - Downton Abbey Inspired {Lady Mary Crawley}

What I'm Wearing: 1920s Lace Dress made by me // Cardigan Target // Necklace F21 // Heels Naturalizers // Tights Worthington @ J.C.Penny // Earrings LC for Kohl's

My church outfit for today was inspired by what Lady Mary Crawley might wear in Downton Abbey in the upcoming season three {which is going to be set in the 1920s}. This outfit just happened to come about. Last night I went into my closet thinking I was going to wear a jean skirt, with a grey striped top & a turquoise necklace. But instead, my 1920s lace dress was calling me. It could be because I was wishing I had lace sheath dress to wear. So my outfit turned into a 1920s Downton Abbey inspired outfit.

My lace dress was made several years ago, in fact it was in June of 2010, you can read all about my process on making the dress here.
