Also films with the popular actresses of the era I haven't really seen at all either. I've seen more films with either the popular actors, or all the lesser known actresses and actors. *smiles* Oh, at the end of the post I'll be announcing the winner of the necklace. :)

  1. Oh! I wish I had known you were doing the movie thing! I have seen and love most of those movies....It's kinda funny my gradfather is the spitting image of Gary Cooper! He even acts like him! Just finished watching "The Cowboy and the Lady" Love it!

  2. That sounds like something Rachel Lynde would say. :)

P.S. You're not missing out on anything with "Gone With the Wind." I was so disappointed when I saw it a few years ago, after all the hype it gets. It's full of depressing, unlikable, selfish people, and it's about 2 hours too long. :) Just my opinion, though- I know a lot of people love it.

  3. Your movie guessing game was so much fun, Ashley! I love doing those.
Agreed...Pride of the Yankees really is a great movie. I always get teary-eyed near the end. -sniff, sniff-
I think Gone With the Wind is a must see because it's such a "classic" and the costumes are fantastic. However, I found that it wasn't exactly what I was expecting... Personally, I really like it(even though a lot of the characters do make you throughly disgusted).
Congratulations to Amanda on winning that lovely necklace!
    Much love!

  6. @Kristin I keep going back and forth about watching "Gone With the Wind." Should I watch, or not as I do know there are awful characters in it. But the dresses, I would love to see them moving and not as just pictures! :)
