1. Pick 20 of your favorite movies.

2. Go to and find a quote from each movie.

3. Post them for everyone to guess.

4. Strike it out when someone guesses correctly, and put who guessed it and the movie.

It's a conspiracy, I tell you - -against every boy and girl who were ever in love. (Mr. Blandings Builds his Dream House) - Caroline and Kristin

  1. 10. The Young Victoria
    11. Beauty and the Beast
    12. Amazing Grace
    13. North and South

It's weird that all the ones I knew were in a row!

  2. I love quote quizzes!

    10. "The Young Victoria"

    12. "Amazing Grace"

    13. "North and South"

    19. "Apollo 13"

    20. "Pride and Prejudice"

  3. 13. "Reckon I'll leave my brains at home then."
Ahh! I know! It's from North and South and Mr. Higgins says it to Mr. Thornton. Love that bit! Lol, hope I didn't get that totally wrong:-)

  4. 10. The first thing I thought was Alice in Wonderland but now I'm thinking maybe Ballet Shoes? Not quite sure.

    11. I'm pretty sure this is from the Disney animated Beauty & The Beast (my favorite Disney film!) and that Gaston is character 1 and Belle is character 2. :)

    12. Amazing Grace with Ioan Gruffudd and Benedict Cumberbatch.

    13. North & South, Brendan Doyle's Higgins character says it to Richard Armitage's Mr. Thornton character.

    20. Pride & Prejudice, Mrs. Bennet as played by Brenda Blethyn.

    7. Mr. Buildings Builds His Dream Home

    20. Pride and Prejudice (2005 version)

  6. 14. The Long, Long Trailer -- love that movie! ;)

I'm putting one of these quizzes together right now too. They are so much fun!

  7. number 8 is Father of the Bride (I just finished watching that one!), but that's all I've got so far.

  8. Sounds like an advanced Trivia game. Ask me about fashion! I'm so bad with knowing movies, though I do love Jane Austen, especially the books. My copy of Pride and Prejudice is falling apart, first because it is an old copy and secondly because I've re-read parts of it so many times. What a writer she was! I think she must have lived through most of what she wrote about to have described the motivations of people so accurately. Honest portrayal was what made her writings shine, and she was not appreciated in her time as she is now. Back then, propriety rather than reality was more revered in English novels. Austen brought a fresh approach.

The real reason I'm posting here is to let you know that your blog has been featured on my new modest clothing resource site, Fashion Belle, along with about 500 other links to modest clothing and educational resources. Thanks for your excellent work to promote modesty, and please keep up the good work.

    Your site featured here:

P.S. -- Roman Holiday is a favorite, too. If only it were easy to be as graceful as Princess Anne.

  9. #15 - The Bridge over the River Kwai? I might do this on my own blog....

  10. 1. Desperate Journey
    16. Ben-Hur

    Fun! ;)

  11. Oh, I think I know some!!!

    2. Santa Fe Trail
    5. The Adventures of Robin Hood
    6. Dodge City
    How'd I do??

So, you got to see several new Errol Flynn movies? Hurrah!
