Floral Skirt | Pattern Review

I had seen this skirt style over on Clothed Much and What Would a Nerd Wear and loved it! So I decided to make my own. =)

Pattern: From the blog Freshly Picked.

Pattern Description: Simple elastic skirt.

Pattern Sizing: What ever you want!

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes!

Were the instructions easy to follow? Easy as pie.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? It has pockets!

Fabric Used: Fabric that was given to me.

Pattern Alterations or any design changes you made: Nope.

Would you sew it again? Yes! As it is so easy and simple to make.

Would you recommend it to others? Yes! This pattern is good for beginners.

  1. Dear Ashley,

Hello from a lurker! I've been reading your site for...oh, I don't know...several weeks now, plus browsing the archives, and I just want to say that you have the most delightful fashion blog I've ever had the pleasure to visit. And I've visited quite a few. :)

I think the difference is found in your love of beauty over "body," if you know what I mean. Perhaps it's because you sew. :) But I love the way you enjoy fabrics and ruffles and pendants and other pleasant things just because they are PRETTY, not just because they are "showing off" something of you. But I love your posts. Your cheerful attitude is wonderful, your photography is great, your sewing skills lovely, and your tastes fun. Please keep up the good work!

    Blessings,
    Amber

  2. What an adorable skirt! The fabric reminds me of the costumes of little Women with all the dark burgundys and greens.
