8 Ways You Can Wear a Sweater Dress

Sweater dresses are cute and comfy! Though, you have to be careful in the fit. As it took me awhile to find one that wasn't form fitting, or too short for my taste. But I finally found one while I was on vacation. It was at the Polo Ralph Lauren Outlet, and it was on clearance.

Once I was back from vacation, I experiment with accessories and was able to come up with eight ways to wear a sweater dress. Here are my results.

Plain Basic Sweater Dress

Wearing  this type of dress plain doesn't look the greatest. It can make you look unflattering. And who wants to look like that? Not me! I want something that will look flattering on me! So on to the accessories!

  1. Ashley I really love your sweater dress combo's!!! I have a brown sweater dress that i just love and I got it from the thrift store for only $10.00. I will have to experiment tomorrow some new ways to wear it! :) Its not form fitting to where its too tight like you said, but it nice enough for it to look not frumpy! I will have to post pictures tomorrow. Oh and be praying for Haiti, if you have not heard already they had a Number 8 earth quake today. I know some people that are alive and are missionaries in the city where it happened.

  6. Yes I had not heard about it until this morning. I went over to Hannah's blog at Cultivating Home and she posted about a friend of her's and her family who are missionaries in Haiti. They survived the earth quake, but its still a terrible disaster. I posted about her blog on my blog. So check my blog to see her blog for her story about it.

Those are all great ideas for a sweater dress! I have to agree with Amanda Flynn-- I have a hard time finding one that fits the way I want it to. :) "Look 1" and "Look 3" are probably my favorites.
